BIM

Manhattan embraces innovation in the industry to continually improve our ability to deliver the highest quality project at the lowest cost in the shortest amount of time to our clients. This is why we have been early adopters of tools that facilitate Building Information Modeling (BIM) collaboration.

Manhattan’s in-house BIM collaboration tools include Revit Architecture building design software in coordination with Innovaya Visual Estimating, a cost-estimation module, and NavisWorks, a clash detection software. Both Innovaya and NavisWorks have 3-D simulation capabilities.

BIM provides a 3-dimensional model of a project with an associated database of information related to the project structure. When using BIM in collaboration with architects, engineers and subcontractors, Manhattan can more easily identify costs, by calculating quantities and materials as needed, and design conflicts before construction begins.

Building Information Modeling helps to deliver an efficient construction process benefiting our clients with reduced cost, increased quality and speedier delivery.

Our BIM collaboration for this project provides early, on-going constructability analysis in the architectural and structural elements of the design. This is a LEED registered project, seeking LEED Silver certification.
