Ambassador Hotel - Tulsa, Oklahoma
The Ambassador Hotel renovation included the entire 10-story, 52,000 square foot building as well as renovation of an award winning restaurant, "The Chalkboard", located on the lower level. The renovation removed the Hotel from Preservation Oklahoma's list of Oklahoma's Most Endangered Historic Properties. The project team collaborated on the design and construction techniques in order to achieve maximum economies, ensure material availability and workforce expertise as well as speed of construction in dealing with a severely deteriorated existing building.
The Vendome Condominium Tower - Dallas, Texas
The Vendome Condominium Tower is a 23-story, luxury high-rise with 129 residences. The Tower is a 403,000 square foot stucco and stone structure. There are three levels of below grade parking totaling 182,000 square feet. The facility also includes European-style gardens, and two-story penthouses overlooking Dallas skyline. Units include high ceilings, hardwood floors, crown moldings, fireplaces, marble whirlpool baths, and private balconies with spectacular views.
Juniper Street Mixed Use Development - Atlanta, Georgia
The Juniper Street Mixed-Use Development is a 10-story structure with partial basement and two levels of underground parking. Retail space located on the street level features combined live and work units. The scope includes 117 condominiums ranging from 700 to 1,600 square feet. The pool deck is located on the third level and the elevated exterior terraces on levels 2, 3, 4 & 7. Manhattan provided pre-construction and general construction services on this project.
The Artisan - Decatur, Georgia
This mixed-use development project includes 105 condominium/townhouse units. The structure is designed with a four-level and a seven-level section. Condominium units are located above 11,000 square feet of street-level retail. Six brownstone-style townhouse units feature private landings and patios. The building includes a rooftop pool, courtyard area, fitness center and club room. Adjacent to the main structure is a precast parking deck and courtyard area. Manhattan Construction provided pre-construction and construction services on this project.
Yacht Haven USVI - St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands
Manhattan provided pre-construction and general contracting services for the Yacht Haven project, which is a large retail, restaurant and commercial site adjacent to a cruise ship port. The 169,000 square foot facility has nine retail shop buildings, a marina office, a condo building with twelve privately-owned condos and three open-air restaurants, one of which is in the middle of the bay surrounded by the yacht marina slips. The project includes 10 small kiosks for retail and two water features. Other amenities are tennis courts and a pool house adjacent to a tropically themed pool. The property has underground cisterns for rainwater collection. The Ritz Carlton Hotel and Condominium is a 21-story, 575,911 square foot project including 217 hotel rooms and 70 condo units. The five-star hotel accommodations include an ornate 23,450 square foot ballroom/meeting rooms, 12,000 square foot world class spa, pool, signature restaurant with outdoor dining and bar. The project includes a 286,419 square foot, 503-space parking garage with hotel parking, secured parking for condo residents and storage facilities.
1407 Main Street Garage and Residences - Dallas, Texas
Located in historic downtown Dallas in the middle of the Main Street revitalization area, this 16-story, 350,000 square foot building combines public and residential parking with urban apartment living. The project team implemented careful logistics planning and innovative solutions to overcome the dynamics of a tight downtown site with numerous unknown subsurface conditions.
The Gallery Condominiums - Atlanta, Georgia
The Gallery is a 27-story building with 203 luxury condominiums and an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. The condominiums include contemporary architecture and modern amenities that include floor-to-ceiling glass, granite countertops, 10-foot ceilings, ultra-high-speed Internet access, 448 parking spaces, 24-hour concierge and upscale fitness and social centers. The units average more than 1,700 square feet in size, and include traditional foyers, increased storage, cabinetry, hardwood and ceramic flooring. Manhattan Construction provided pre-construction and general construction services on this project.
Vistas on the James - Richmond, Virginia
The Vistas on the James project is a 17-1/2 story, 350,000 square foot, high-rise condominium building including 12 levels of luxury residential condominiums, five levels of garage parking and a half level that opens to a pedestrian canal walk. The building includes a fitness center, retail area and 162 units, each equipped with private balconies. The structure consists of poured in place concrete with post tensioned beams on a deep foundation system. Logistical challenges included tight site conditions due to the downtown location.
Longhorn Village - Austin, Texas
Longhorn Village is a mixed use, master-planned continuing care retirement community including an Independent Living Building containing 173 residential units in two apartment building wings with a centrally-located commons area which includes kitchen, dining, recreational and other common facilities; and a Health Care Building containing 20 assisted living units, 60 private skilled nursing beds, 16 memory support units, and administrative offices.
