The Bush Presidential Library Complex consists of the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum; the School of Government and Public Service; and the Presidential Conference Center. The combined buildings total 301,000 square feet on 95 acres on the west side of the Texas A&M campus. Manhattan received the “National Excellence in Construction Award” from the Associated Builders and Contractors for their work on this project. Pre-construction and general construction services were provided on this project.

Oklahoma State University Gallagher-Iba Arena Expansion and Renovation - Stillwater, Oklahoma

The award-winning Gallagher-Iba Arena Expansion project required a new facility to be built over the existing arena. The new expansion area was to encapsulate the old facility while maintaining use of the old arena. The expansion increased the seating capacity to a maximum of approximately 13,000 seats. The project includes new and renovated spaces for coaches, administrative staff, vendors, janitorial services, locker rooms, toilet rooms and showers for men and women's athletes, training and strength conditioning facilities.

Oklahoma City University Wanda L. Bass Music Center - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The 80,000 square foot Music Center doubled the size of the facilities for the OCU School of Music, which includes the music, dance and drama departments. The school features state-of-the-art classrooms, practice halls, workshops, 41 teaching studios, 60 practice rooms, seven ensemble rehearsal spaces and a structure for set construction. Manhattan provided a constructability review, cost estimating, pre-construction and general contracting for the building, which is designed for acoustical performance and to eliminate noise and vibration.

University of Oklahoma Gaylord Hall College of Journalism and Mass Communications - Norman, Oklahoma

The 61,000 square foot Gaylord Hall features the traditional collegiate gothic elements of OU's most historic buildings. It was designed to incorporate the latest in technology for teaching print and broadcast journalists and to accommodate future technological developments. The project included a central atrium with skylight, auditorium, audio/video facilities, classrooms, three computer rooms and a television studio. The structures are steel frame construction with light gauge metal curtain walls with a brick veneer and cast stone.

Bell Lincoln Multi-Cultural School - Washington, District of Columbia

The Bell Lincoln Multi-Cultural School project consists of demolition of the existing Abraham Lincoln Middle School and construction of a new middle and high school at the same site. The project includes four separate buildings connected under one roof: one three-story and one four-story classroom buildings, a one-story auditorium and a two-story multipurpose building. A below-grade parking garage to accommodate 143 parking spaces for faculty and staff is included in the scope of work. Pre-construction and construction services were provided on this project.

Advanced Materials Research Laboratory at Clemson University - Anderson, South Carolina

Located in Anderson, South Carolina, this is the first LEED® project built in the state of South Carolina. The 111,000 square foot LEED® Silver certified project includes 28 laboratories, offices and an assembly area. Through recycling and reuse, Manhattan diverted more than 75% of construction waste from this project from being sent to landfills. By commissioning laboratory fume hoods and low-emission furniture, the facility received ‘innovation in design’ LEED® credits. The installation of bicycle racks and pedestrian/non-motorized vehicle paths supports efforts to reduce automobile pollution.

Ola High School & Middle School Complex - McDonough, Georgia

The Henry County School System’s Ola School Complex consists of 402,000 square feet including 240 classrooms, two commercial kitchens, eight laboratories, two libraries, an athletic room and a major athletic complex. The athletic complex areas included a new stadium, baseball field and softball field. The school system recieved cost savings benefit by the Program Management style approach applied by Manhattan including the advantage of economy through scale by packaging complex projects (High School, Middle School and Athletic complex) together.

Clemson Memorial Stadium West End Zone Phase 1 - Clemson, South Carolina

This project includes the addition to the Clemson University football stadium including visitor team, home team and officials' locker rooms. This project is located at the west end zone, which is a low point in a 70-foot-deep valley. The west end zone facility connects to three existing stands: the north and south stands and the remaining structure of the west stands. All three were built at different times and detailed coordination was required to connect them. The project serves as the epicenter of all football activities, including recruiting, premium and additional seating, locker rooms, concessions, retail, main entry to the stadium and a premium seating lounge.

Prestonwood Christian Academy Upper School project is located on the 138-acre Prestonwood campus in Plano, Texas. This project includes a two-story, 98,232 square foot middle & upper school, and a 23,800 square foot gymnasium and athletic facility.

University of Texas at Arlington Chemistry & Physics Building - Arlington, Texas

The Chemistry & Physics Building at UTA is a three-story, 131,000 square foot building and includes a 60-foot domed digital planetarium with 171 reclining seats, 20 classrooms, a computer room, 48 sophisticated labs, executive “board room” style conference room and office space. The exterior is designed with a unique curved stone wall that has the school name carved at the entrance of the building.

The Texas A & M University New Science Building project is a 117,000 square foot facility that includes 30 sophisticated labs, 7,000 square feet of administrative offices, a large auditorium, tiered lecture rooms and a 40-foot domed planetarium with 87 reclining seats. The building is a concrete structure with an exterior made up of brick, cast stone, curtain wall, and metal panels.

University of Oklahoma Tulsa Schusterman Medical Research Clinic & Parking Garage - Tulsa, Oklahoma

This facility houses the research and medical clinic for the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa. The 98,000 square foot project includes a three-story medical clinic with an open atrium and three-level parking garage. The building includes clinical services for Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Psychiatry and provides a multi-clinical facility for Surgery, Women's Health Services and an after-hours clinic. Manhattan received the “Excellence In Construction” award from the Associated Builders and Contractors for this project.

Cascia Hall Performing Arts Center - Tulsa, Oklahoma

The Cascia Performing Arts Center includes a 700-seat, 24,000 square foot bi-level auditorium and 10,000 square feet of new classroom space. The complex is outfitted with new men’s and ladies' locker rooms and connects to the existing Upper School Gym. The exterior relates well to the French Norman style of the rest of the buildings on campus. Clinker style brick forms the façade of the new auditorium and 30-foot high bronze colored windows line the lobby area and entryway.

University of Houston - Downtown Academic Building and Parking Structure - Houston, Texas

The University of Houston Academic Building and Parking Garage features a 132,000 square foot building with 44 classrooms, four computer labs, lecture halls, library, lounges and over 100 faculty and support offices. The new building and the 620 space, 250,000 square foot, garage is constructed on a three-acre site. This facility was designed following sustainable principles of the U.C. Green Building Council. Manhattan delivered the project on time in an accelerated schedule of 18 months.

Heritage High School - Ringgold, Georgia

The Media Center serves as the central organizing element of the two-story, 260,000 square foot Heritage High School project with the ninth grade academy and 10th through 12th grade classrooms flanking it. The scope includes a fine arts wing, which houses an 850-seat theatre, band, choral and art spaces, and a broadcast studio. The campus includes a 3,000-seat football/track stadium, soccer, baseball and softball stadiums, and tennis courts. Manhattan Construction provided construction management services including pre-construction and general construction on this project.

The Bee Street Parking Garage is a 1500-car, eight-story and 588,000 square foot parking garage that is designed to aesthetically match the new replacement hospital and adjacent Central Energy Plant for the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). The facility also includes 4,500 square feet of cardiac rehabilitation space and 2,000 square feet of ground level retail space.

The Edith Kinney Gaylord Center project included a 19,000 square foot addition and a 40,000 square foot remodel of the existing School of Dance. Scope of work included eight (8) dance studios, locker room facilities, and office space for students, faculty and staff. The project was composed of a 19,000 square-foot new addition, the remodel of the upper level of the existing building, re-roofing of the existing building, the remodel of the lower level of the existing building.

The Tom & Brenda McDaniel University Center project included the remodel of 54,000 square feet in the existing Student Faculty Center at Oklahoma City University. This project included a new bookstore, cafeteria, computer lab, offices, IT server room, mailroom and ballroom. Included in the scope of work is an upgrade to the entire building to meet ADA requirements.

Alvin Community College Science/Health Science Building project is a two-story, 98,790 square foot educational facility. The building includes four teaching theaters, an ambulance bay, 22 labortories including a simulation lab, modern skills and science labs and 17 lecture classrooms. The Associate Degree and Vocational Nursing, Diagnostic Cardiovascular Sonography, Emergency Medical Technology, Respiratory Care and all science programs will consolidate into the new building.

University of Oklahoma Cancer Institute - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

The seven-story, 220,000 square foot OU Cancer Institute is located on the OU Health Sciences Center campus in Oklahoma City. The landmark facility accommodates teach, research, clinical trials, counseling, support care, and a comprehensive and sophisticated selection of diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. The facility's combination of available treatment services makes it the only one of its kind in the state and surrounding region. Manhattan was chosen to provide pre-construction services for the project, which also includes a 1,000-car parking garage and a pedestrian bridge to the OU Physicians building across the street.
