Fiesta Texas Theme Park - San Antonio, Texas
The Fiesta Texas project is a multi-story theme park development on a 150-acre site, which was originally the location of a working quarry. The scope of work included approximately 120 building structures, totaling 600,000 square feet. Buildings included major indoor theaters, restaurants, outdoor amphitheaters, retail, and ride queues. At peak construction, Manhattan crews topped 2,000 workers. Manhattan received a “National Excellence in Construction Award" from the Associated Builders and Contractors for building this project.
Texas Rangers Ballpark in Arlington - Arlington, Texas
The Texas Rangers Ballpark in Arlington is a 49,115 seat open-air, state-of-the-art, baseball-only facility. The project includes 180,000 square feet of below-grade, back-of-house facilities, an incorporated four-level office building, two levels of suites, locker rooms, food service, concessions, and an adjacent 115-space parking garage with vehicular tunnels and media bays. Manhattan was recognized nationally with the “Excellence In Construction Award" by the Association of Builders and Contractors for work performed on this project.
Four Seasons Resort & Club Villas - Irving, Texas
This project consisted of 52 luxury villas surrounding the 18th green of the TPC Championship Course, home of the Byron Nelson Golf Championship. The villas are 3-story buildings nestled into the hillside, constructed of composite wood and masonry with a glazed tile roof and atrium skylight. Work included over 10 acres of resort site development including cart paths, rock walls, stamped concrete pools plazas, limestone coping, 10,000 square foot 180,000 gallon serpentine swimming pool with waterfall and spa covered with an ornate arched bridge.
Las Colinas Corporate Center Phase I - Irving, Texas
Manhattan constructed all three phases of the Las Colinas Corporate Center including a five-story, a six-story and an eight-story office building totaling 508,000 square feet. The three Class A office buildings were constructed in a campus-style setting. An underground tunnel links the three buildings together. Each building has an adjacent two-level parking structure.
Prestonwood Baptist Church New Campus Phase I - Plano, Texas
This project consisted of multiple connected buildings on a 138-acre site totaling 400,000 square feet on four levels. The main sanctuary and atrium is 100,000 square feet and seats 7,000 people. Surrounding the sanctuary is 200,000 square feet of rehearsal halls and service facilities. The east end of the complex includes a three-level, 100,000 square foot Children's Education Center. Manhattan received the “Award of Excellence” from the Associated Builders and Contractors and the “Outstanding Project” award from the American Subcontractors Association for exceptional delivery of this project.
NEC America Corporate Center Phase I - Dallas, Texas
The NEC Corporate Office is a prominate 535,000 campus consisting of a nine-story building for executive offices, standard open offices, a full-service cafeteria, fitness center and executive briefing center, and an 'L'-shaped mid-rise building with a five-store and a three-story wing for offices, testing labs, training center and loading/mail room facilities. The project also includes a cast-in-place, four-level, 640,000 square foot parking garage and a sunken landscaped plaza.
Double Tree Hotel & Conference Center at Legacy Town Center - Plano, Texas
The Doubletree Hotel & Conference Center is a 405-room, full-service hotel. The hotel is 321,000 square feet over 6-levels, with 35,000 square feet of conference and meeting space, a 14,000 square foot ballroom, a tiered amphitheater training room and 16,500 square feet of retail space. The facility includes a 178,000 square foot, 550-space parking garage. The project was fast tracked and topped out within six months of breaking ground. Pre-construction and general contracting services were provided on this project.
The Vendome Condominium Tower - Dallas, Texas
The Vendome Condominium Tower is a 23-story, luxury high-rise with 129 residences. The Tower is a 403,000 square foot stucco and stone structure. There are three levels of below grade parking totaling 182,000 square feet. The facility also includes European-style gardens, and two-story penthouses overlooking Dallas skyline. Units include high ceilings, hardwood floors, crown moldings, fireplaces, marble whirlpool baths, and private balconies with spectacular views.
Granite Park Phase II - Plano, Texas
Granite Park II office building is pre-cast concrete with curtainwall exterior skin materials and a structural concrete frame. The office building is a ten-story design with approximately 266,581 square feet. The parking garage is four and one half levels and 282,000 square feet in size and accommodates 859 cars.
Sinacola Corporate Offices - Frisco, Texas
The Sinacola project is a 32,975 square foot, two-story corporate office complex. The scope also includes a 26,423 square foot maintenance building. The project exterior design included a combination of exposed, unpainted tilt-wall, metal, curtain wall and stone construction.
Prestonwood Baptist Church West Wing - Plano, Texas
The West Wing expansion of the Prestonwood campus is approximately 150,000 square feet and consists of a full service kitchen with food court, fireside meeting room, a multi-purpose youth building with meeting room/gymnasium/fitness area, a 500-seat chapel and a prayer tower. The structural steel frame building includes a combination of glass, metal panels and masonry facades. The chapel design includes a glue laminate timber roof structure finished out with wood flooring and limestone walls.
Prestonwood Christian Academy Upper School - Plano, Texas
Prestonwood Christian Academy Upper School project is located on the 138-acre Prestonwood campus in Plano, Texas. This project includes a two-story, 98,232 square foot middle & upper school, and a 23,800 square foot gymnasium and athletic facility.
University of Texas at Arlington Chemistry & Physics Building - Arlington, Texas
The Chemistry & Physics Building at UTA is a three-story, 131,000 square foot building and includes a 60-foot domed digital planetarium with 171 reclining seats, 20 classrooms, a computer room, 48 sophisticated labs, executive “board room” style conference room and office space. The exterior is designed with a unique curved stone wall that has the school name carved at the entrance of the building.
Texas A & M University New Science Building - Commerce, Texas
The Texas A & M University New Science Building project is a 117,000 square foot facility that includes 30 sophisticated labs, 7,000 square feet of administrative offices, a large auditorium, tiered lecture rooms and a 40-foot domed planetarium with 87 reclining seats. The building is a concrete structure with an exterior made up of brick, cast stone, curtain wall, and metal panels.
Ritz-Carlton Hotel & Residences - Dallas, Texas
The Ritz Carlton Hotel and Condominium is a 21-story, 575,911 square foot project including 217 hotel rooms and 70 condo units. The five-star hotel accommodations include an ornate 23,450 square foot ballroom/meeting rooms, 12,000 square foot world class spa, pool, signature restaurant with outdoor dining and bar. The project includes a 286,419 square foot, 503-space parking garage with hotel parking, secured parking for condo residents and storage facilities.
1407 Main Street Garage and Residences - Dallas, Texas
Located in historic downtown Dallas in the middle of the Main Street revitalization area, this 16-story, 350,000 square foot building combines public and residential parking with urban apartment living. The project team implemented careful logistics planning and innovative solutions to overcome the dynamics of a tight downtown site with numerous unknown subsurface conditions.
Dallas Cowboys Arlington Stadium - Arlington, Texas
The Dallas Cowboys new Stadium in Arlington is approximately three million square feet and 104 million cubic feet making it the largest NFL stadium and largest domed building in the world. The facility accommodates 80,000 patrons and is expandable to 100,000 in a comfortable, conditioned environment under a retractable roof system that utilizes 128 -7.5 HP motors to open and close. The two main HD video boards are the largest in the world at 72 feet tall and 168 feet long and are the only center hung video boards in the NFL. The interior has over one million square feet of finished space with over 300 suites and 220,000 square feet of unique clubs/lounges.
