Ola High School & Middle School Complex - McDonough, Georgia
The Henry County School System’s Ola School Complex consists of 402,000 square feet including 240 classrooms, two commercial kitchens, eight laboratories, two libraries, an athletic room and a major athletic complex. The athletic complex areas included a new stadium, baseball field and softball field. The school system recieved cost savings benefit by the Program Management style approach applied by Manhattan including the advantage of economy through scale by packaging complex projects (High School, Middle School and Athletic complex) together.
Juniper Street Mixed Use Development - Atlanta, Georgia
The Juniper Street Mixed-Use Development is a 10-story structure with partial basement and two levels of underground parking. Retail space located on the street level features combined live and work units. The scope includes 117 condominiums ranging from 700 to 1,600 square feet. The pool deck is located on the third level and the elevated exterior terraces on levels 2, 3, 4 & 7. Manhattan provided pre-construction and general construction services on this project.
The World of Coca-Cola - Atlanta, Georgia
The new World of Coca-Cola project is a corporate attraction that includes 93,000 square feet of museum space. The facility includes a retail area, two theaters with pre-show space, gallery space, bottling viewing area, lobby and ticket office. The exterior includes a 90-foot tower with a 30-foot illumination of a Coca-Cola bottle shape that displays at night. This project holds LEED® Gold Certification. The construction team salvaged, reused or recycled almost 90 percent of the construction waste. Pre-construction and construction services were provided on this project.
The Artisan - Decatur, Georgia
This mixed-use development project includes 105 condominium/townhouse units. The structure is designed with a four-level and a seven-level section. Condominium units are located above 11,000 square feet of street-level retail. Six brownstone-style townhouse units feature private landings and patios. The building includes a rooftop pool, courtyard area, fitness center and club room. Adjacent to the main structure is a precast parking deck and courtyard area. Manhattan Construction provided pre-construction and construction services on this project.
The Gallery Condominiums - Atlanta, Georgia
The Gallery is a 27-story building with 203 luxury condominiums and an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. The condominiums include contemporary architecture and modern amenities that include floor-to-ceiling glass, granite countertops, 10-foot ceilings, ultra-high-speed Internet access, 448 parking spaces, 24-hour concierge and upscale fitness and social centers. The units average more than 1,700 square feet in size, and include traditional foyers, increased storage, cabinetry, hardwood and ceramic flooring. Manhattan Construction provided pre-construction and general construction services on this project.
Dawson County Sheriff's Office & Adult Detention Center - Dawsonvillle, Georgia
The 68,500 square foot Dawson County Sheriff's Office & Adult Detention Center facility is constructed of brick and concrete exterior wall systems, modular steel detention wall panels, non-load bearing masonry construction, structural steel interior columns and beams/joists, structural steel perimeter columns and roof framing. Additional components include security systems, security doors and glazing, hollow metal doors and frames, aluminum storefront systems and built-up asphalt roofing system.
Heritage High School - Ringgold, Georgia
The Media Center serves as the central organizing element of the two-story, 260,000 square foot Heritage High School project with the ninth grade academy and 10th through 12th grade classrooms flanking it. The scope includes a fine arts wing, which houses an 850-seat theatre, band, choral and art spaces, and a broadcast studio. The campus includes a 3,000-seat football/track stadium, soccer, baseball and softball stadiums, and tennis courts. Manhattan Construction provided construction management services including pre-construction and general construction on this project.
