HOUSTON, Texas - Harris County has awarded Manhattan Construction Co. the construction contract for the Harris County John Phelps Courthouse project to be located in the City of Pasadena. The 64,000 square foot building will house a Precinct Two office in addition to offices of the Tax Assessor-Collector and the County Clerk, along with the PCT 2 Constable and the PCT 2 Justice of the Peace. The Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services air quality staff will also have offices at the new location. The $10 million project is scheduled to begin this fall.
