FT. MYERS, Fla. - Kraft Construction Company Inc. has been selected as Construction Manager for Lee County’s new Red Sox spring training facility.  The project includes a 10,000-seat state-of-the-art ballpark, parking and amenities. The design of the new facility is intended to mirror Fenway Park while reflecting the rich architectural heritage of the Southwest Florida Lee County area.

A panel of county and Red Sox officials are currently reviewing proposed sites for the new facility, and plan to have the location chosen by the end of March.  Plans include a target completion date that will allow the Red Sox to move in before spring training in 2012 - the 100-year anniversary of Fenway Park in Boston.

Kraft’s consultants on the project include Casey Construction and Chris-Tel Construction.
